Written by award winning playwright Rickerby Hinds, Dreamscape is an innovative blend of Hip-Hop and theater that will keep audiences coming back for more. Inspired by the tragic shooting of a young African-American woman, this groundbreaking production combines Hip-Hop and theatrical elements in a moving examination of the meaning and worth of a young life. Using acting, dancing, DJing, and verse, this play depicts the young woman as she journeys through places at times humorous at others tragic and takes stock of issues, large and small, while battling for life under the shadow of death.
